Job DescriptionJob Reference Code: 005535-CorpTreasury Accountant is responsible for managing fixed assets and debt schedules, creating purchase orders and related processing duties for capital expenditures, working with leasing companies, managing company credit card program, monthly accrual journal entries and their related account reconciliations and analysis and assisting with annual bank and financial audits.Primary ResponsibilitiesMonth end duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, error investigations and expense analysis.Management of fixed assets and debt schedules.Creating purchase orders.Determine which investment requests (fixed assets) are able to be leased or how we are going to fund the project (pay cash, use line of credit, operating lease, etc.) based on analyzing the specifics of each project and the impact of each funding method.Secure funding from leasing companies - determining how IR projects will be funded (cash, line of credit, operating lease, etc.), get proposals from leasing companies, determine which leasing company to partner with, work with leasing company to get paperwork completed and project funded.Management of the company credit card program including approving of applications and determining spending limits (single and monthly) for each card holder and which MCC (merchant category codes) each card holder can purchase from. Adjust/increase spending limits for individuals as business needs arise. Manage online account access for users.Drive Continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.Create processes and procedures for the area of responsibility.Partner with all departments of the organization.Other duties as assigned. Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience is necessary.Strong analytical, problem solving skills including root cause analysis is a plus.Ability to multitask.Customer service oriented both internally and externally is necessary.Computer experience - Microsoft Office (Excel) or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.CQ or other report writing with QAD or other ERP software knowledge is helpful.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.Ability to perform basic math.Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.Must be able to adjust quickly to changing demands.To be considered an applicant for this position, you must apply online on our careersite at https://careers.wlfoods.com/.West Liberty Foods/Liberty Cold/Crystal Lake Farms is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
