We are looking for a Systems Operations Engineer to join Wells Fargo, to provide technical solutions for the CLBT platform and help innovate processes and capabilities that will make the platform more resilient and efficient.
The successful team member will analyze and resolve complex issues in a high visibility distributed JAVA/J2EE and .NET based middleware platform. The resource will actively interact with development and various technical partner teams, vendors, as well as internal and external business partners. As a senior resource on the Platform Management team, he/she will evaluate and recommend enhancements/changes to existing processes.
Candidate must have strong application support experience and have an understanding of various middleware technologies. Familiarity with various database, NAS, and network systems is also highly desired. The ability to take initiative, problem solve, and lead high visibility fast-paced efforts (while effectively communicating to technical and senior leaders) is a must.
The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and analyze complex issues in critical situations. As a resource within the team, this individual will mentor junior team members. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large virtual team setting, is crucial. A proactive mindset (combined with a willingness to learn new processes and tools) is vital to this role.

7+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
4+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
1+ year of Autosys experience
1+ year of Splunk experience
4+ years of application production support experience
2+ years of AppDynamic experience
5+ years of experience providing monitoring tools support for applications built on JAVA or .NET platforms
Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
Strong team or technical leadership experience
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
1+ year of customer service experience
1+ year of operations environment experience
1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience
Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members
Knowledge and understanding of network automation development through scripting
Knowledge and understanding of system monitoring and automation
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP, IBM Liberty/WAS, WebLogic, or other similar products) on UNIX/Linux OS
Experience with AppDynamics, APM (or similar) monitoring tools to solve and prevent application issues
Leading and resolving high-visibility EACO issues
Ability to work on call as assigned
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
Flexibility to adjust work schedule in accordance to the time zone for the market you are supporting
