Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

The Enterprise Finance Application Support and Strategy team is seeking a highly motivated professional to lead the forecasting transformation effort with a clear focus on streamlining the end-to-end finance forecasting processes including integration with Treasury forecasting.

This role will support the Enterprise Finance forecasting processes with a key deliverable of developing the 3-5 year forecasting application roadmap in close partnership with Technology. The roadmap will need to strategically support all types of forecasts (9 Quarter, CCAR/MCST and Crisis Management) and portfolios with a fully integrated approach. The ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed leadership environment is critical as it is through partnership with all stakeholders that requirements will be fully defined and process gaps will be assessed. This role will succinctly translate the business requirements to technology teams for implementation as well as execute on integration of the process with the broader support team. Additionally, the execution of investment deliverables and preparing and leading executive updates to senior leadership and stakeholders across Finance and Treasury will be required.

This resource will be tasked with performing analysis, identifying and resolving complex problems while navigating the various forecasting processes. This encompasses the proper analysis and interpretation of data and system/process changes and having the ability to communicate the impact of such changes to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure the proper decisions and / or results are derived.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, modeling and tracking

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams

  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): all phases and types of testing

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation

  • Ability to act as a liaison between the technical design staff and business requester to ensure all requirements are met

  • Essbase and/or SmartView experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL

  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle

  • Knowledge and understanding of Java

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
