The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. The Marketing Strategy & Business Planning leader, reporting directly to the Head of PVSI Marketing Strategic/Business Planning, Effectiveness and Operations Manager, will partner with her leader, PVSI marketing and LOB key stakeholders to facilitate the development of organizational objectives, business planning and perform business analysis and gather research to facilitate the development of strategic planning, forecasting and reporting activities are happening smoothly and consistently. To do so, this leader will lead and/or provide support for PVSI Marketing internal routines and governance related to annual planning, marketing strategy, initiative prioritization, and team member engagement.

*Key Responsibilities*

PVSI Marketing Strategy, Planning & Initiative Prioritization Process

  • Coordinate and facilitate business planning processes for PVSI key stakeholders, including weekly, monthly and annual cycles, integration with finance and LOB routines and governance.

o This includes facilitating the distribution of monthly, quarterly and annual expense, outcomes and initiatives level activities, including monthly reconciliation and variance to gap explanations for various Marketing and business purposes (i.e., reports, presentations, etc.).

o Partner with Marketing’s finance team and Marketing FP&A team to develop, evolve and oversee a robust monthly outlook, annual planning and MOR processes.

o Develop, document and manage internal marketing routines and ensure transparency and accountability across key stakeholders.

o Develop and facilitate resource capacity planning routines across PVSI Marketing, including monthly capacity planning assessment and analysis reports.

o Coordination of the development of overall PVSI marketing strategy and supporting initiatives deliverables.

  • Create and facilitate initiative prioritization processes for PVSI leadership and key stakeholders across Marketing.

o Facilitate the governance process for prioritizing marketing initiatives and capabilities that require funding from LOB partners.

o Document and track ongoing changes to priorities and business cases. Creation and oversight of PVSI Initiatives dashboard and tradeoff reports.

o Lead and facilitate in partnership with Leadership development of common financial measurement prioritization definitions and guiding principles.

  • Support leadership in the evolution of the Business Horizontal Team engagement model.

  • Coordinate PVSI Marketing strategy development, planning and deliverables. Facilitates and coordinates across PVSI leadership team for creation of Operating Committee specific plans and leadership presentations.

  • Oversight for key deliverables across efficiency and expense management, Model Changes, Model Optimization assessment, support and rollout.

  • Establish standards for Team Member Engagement & Support by developing a strong understanding of team member routines to help optimize the experience, Survey Team members & develop action plans to increase employee satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
