UnityPoint Health Palliative Care Physician - Des Moines in West Des Moines, Iowa
A consult-only role with strong referral base
Dedicated team with 2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who have strong relationships with the patients
Primarily a Monday-Friday work week with a 1:6 week after hour call allowing for a work/life balance
Working with a dynamic, inter-disciplinary team to provide excellent patient care
Dedicated, work space in the hospital to start and end the day
Average 3-4 new consults/day and 4-6 follow-up visits/day
Palliative Care service consulting only
