You will plan, design, analyze and present result of healthcare related information using statistical software and healthcare-related methodologies. You will serve as a lead for other team members of the statistics department, as well as a subject matter expert across multiple company initiatives and contracts.The Gig:You will consult with internal and external customers to understand technical needs and develop end to end statistical solutions for large healthcare data sets. You will design optimal methodologies for statistical analyses and reporting including sampling, data collection, tool design, validation and reliability methods, experimental design, statistical modeling, data communication and pattern analysis. You will present findings to internal and external customers.You will analyze and interpret data from various sources. You will compile reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods. You will create analysis tools for retrieving information including programming of statistical software programs. You will serve as a technical resource to the organization, consulting with leadership on statistical trends impacting Medicare and Medicaid data, public and private payer claims data, and health system administrative and clinical data.You will provide mentorship and training to team members as needed.You will research and archive internal and external data sources for use in analysis activities. You will stay well-informed of industry healthcare statistical models and be able to implement them within company initiatives as appropriate.You will serve as a technical resource to physicians and Telligen leadership regarding the availability and reliability of data sources.What you need to make the cut:Masters degree in mathematics or statistics or related field and/or equivalent experience and/or training.
