Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The * Acquisition Risk Data Infrastructure Analytics and Reporting* team works closely with Risk Acquisition Strategy and Systems Implementation teams to support the implementation, tracking and evaluation of risk acquisition strategies and measure the portfolio performance. In addition, the groups work closely with other Risk partners including Finance, Marketing, Product, Technology, etc. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team.

Credit Risk Analytics Manager will be highly involved with numerous projects supporting every day development and maintenance of reporting data infrastructure for Card and Co-Brand products, requests and requirements from senior leadership team. This position acts as a central point of communication between Acquisition Data Infrastructure team and partner teams analytics, systems and strategy teams, e.g. Risk strategy team, Technology, Decision Systems Strategy implementation teams across the Consumer Credit and Credit Risk organizations.

The position is specifically responsible for proactively supporting and collaborating with both internal and external partners within Corporate Credit Risk. The position will assist in providing reporting and analysis, analyzing and optimizing the current reporting providing the strategy teams to successfully implement and track strategies or processes. Key partnerships with Acquisitions Strategy, Acquisitions Fraud, Data teams upstream and downstream, Product Managers modeling groups within Wells Fargo will be critical to understanding gaps or opportunities and to ensure the most current portfolio trends and risks are being considered within product development plans and business processes.

This positions will be responsible for aligning the Acquisitions related reporting for Card, Co-Brand (Dillard's, Sparrow) and Retail products. Innovate and continue to excel Reporting Infrastructure for Card and Co-Brand products. Develop to expand on highly detailed processes in support of Card Credit Decision and Strategy team. Solidify senior level reporting efforts within visualization tools, such as SAS VA and Tableau. Expand on establishing internal data controls and validation for Card, Co-Brand and Retail products.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Continue improving current Reporting Infrastructure within Tableau/SQL, SAS/SAS VA environments

  • Lead multiple team members to successfully energize and further develop the team

  • Develop, automate and enhanced established reporting infrastructure to support business growth

  • Support analysis of large initiatives and successfully implement strategies/reporting within CFS & PLG DI

  • Provide risk analytics expertise on risk initiatives and communicate the findings to partners

  • Provide ongoing support of internal and external audits and examinations

  • Provide some ad-hoc analysis and deliver highest quality data and support for reporting in a timely manner

  • Evaluate business reporting tools and improve current data and provide support for reporting processes, e.g. SAS OLAP Cubes, SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau, .NET and SQL/Teradata environments

  • Create and maintain strong documentation of systems, data, process and controls used within current environment

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of management experience, in a risk environment

  • 7+ years of SQL or SAS experience
