The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Center of Excellence (COE) combines Innovation and Strategic Services Technology (ISST) teams across Wells Fargo to establish and maintain enterprise content management strategies, governance, processes and standards, services and capabilities, and technology platforms. These technology teams provide and support ECM solutions and core capabilities including: Content Repositories, Image Capture and Ingestion, Records Management, Workflow, Content Viewers & Transformation Tools, Content Access (Services/APIs), and Utilities/Shared Services.

The Business Systems Consultant position resides within the ECM Release Management team and will play a senior Release Lead Role with responsibility for the following functions:

  • Collaborates with technology managers, implementation and project managers to effectively manage all projects in a Release.

  • Participates in related calls – representing Release Status and Issues across ECM COE Projects – across Platforms.

  • Participates in program and project test planning as assigned.

  • Ensures testing and support is planned and on schedule. Raises issues such as slippage in schedule due to factors of late code turnover or environment outages and pro-actively communicates to Leadership.

  • Ensures testing activities are progressing, pro-actively communicating deviations from testing schedules to Leadership.

  • Establishes and maintains standards for measuring performance against process and initiative deliverables and alignment of projects to management strategy.

  • Develop metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Leads internal working teams as assigned to successfully execute upon commitments and provide internal consultant expertise within technology and business groups for successful initiative delivery.

  • Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and improvements for greater efficiencies.

  • Provide support to integration, engineering, infrastructure or redesign efforts taking a lead role.

  • Provides support to Regulatory - Compliance efforts and strategic programs.

  • May be responsible for miscellaneous business administrative initiatives.

  • May provide guidance and expertise to less experienced staff.

  • Establish and own the ECM Release Scope and Commitment Processes, Tracking, and Communication.

  • Ownership for Business Validation and Implementation Planning and Communication.

  • Facilitate Release Implementation for ECM COE Projects in partnership with the Business and Technology Groups during Release Weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience working with an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Service Oriented Architecture Enabling (SOA) platform

  • 3+ years of experience drafting use cases and test scripts

  • 3+ years of experience using HP ALM or other testing tools

  • 3+ years of release management experience

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of business systems analysis or design experience

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo PAC2000 -WF's ticketing system based on Remedy application

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: System including business requirement design or review, release management support, test script development and execution, and system issue resolution

  • 2+ years of JIRA experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
