Does helping customers meet their financial goals sound like something you would enjoy? If so, the Personal Banker position with FirstBank would be a great fit for you. As a Personal Banker, you will provide excellent customer service, open and maintain customer accounts, and originate loans for customers. By pairing customers with the financial products and services they need you will help them meet their diverse financial goals such as purchasing a car, making home improvements, or making paying monthly bills not so much of a chore.
In year one, you will know you are successful if you have built relationships with our customers and have become knowledgeable on bank products, services, and processes.
To be best prepared for this position, excellent customer service and communication skills as well as confidentiality are a must. In addition, problem solving and prioritization skills will help you excel. You must have at least a high school diploma, 2 years of customer service experience and currently be NMLS registered or eligibility to be NMLS registered. Previous banking experience and a 2-year degree in business, finance or related field are preferred but not required.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Saturday schedule 9am-noon (11 per year)
