UnityPoint Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Allen Inpatient Mental Health - Waterloo, IA in Waterloo, Iowa
Experienced team of 2 NPs, 1 PA, and a Medical Director

1:4 weekend rotation
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

21 bed inpatient unit with 2 providers on each shift seeing 9-12 patients per 12-hour shift
Adult only unit (ages 17 and up)
Call schedule requirement; 9 days of call per month built in with option to pick up extra for additional compensation. Must be able to respond to Allen Hospital within 3o minutes of receiving the call.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
Psych certification required unless applicant has prior inpatient mental health experience as FNP
Strong preference for candidates with inpatient mental health experience as RN or NP
Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
Eligible to work in the United States
