Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Waterloo

Function: Product Engineering

Title: Part-Time Student-Drivetrain-Waterloo IA - 70561

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process preventative maintenance (PM) work orders by:

  • Racking work orders

  • Ordering the parts and kitting them

  • Updating the weekly PM sheet and sending it to production supervisors

  • Scheduling PM’s for 2nd and 3rd shift and weekends

  • Filing completed PM’s

  • Transferring data from the calibration PM’s to the server

  • Giving the maintenance engineers PM’s needed updates

  • Assist in work order backlog tracking and completion

  • Assist the maintenance supervisor and maintenance engineer for project planning

  • Department calibration equipment coordinator

    What Skills You Need

  • Ideally candidates will be pursuing a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology; others may apply

  • Must be a full-time student at a university or college local to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Iowa area

  • If currently attending a community college must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree

  • Graduation date of 2023 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16-20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to learn new computer systems

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to interpret data and self-direct accordingly
