Participates with the interdisciplinary care team in the delivery of the patient's plan of care under the immediate supervision of the RN/LPN, including assisting with OB procedures, providing hands on patient care, and reporting pertinent information to the appropriate team members. Facilitates the smooth operation of the nursing unit by coordinating non-clinical operations such as maintenance of patient charts and unit records, the efficient processing of unit information, and maintenance of unit supplies. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne

Verification (by transcript or certification) of successful completion of Nurse Aide I course; successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals course or successful completion of the Competency Test. Nurse Aide II-Advanced course is preferred and may be provided post-hire.
