We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as a Group Support Specialist. The purpose of this position is to input data and information, as well as perform follow ups on those activities, in order to support GBL teams and provide better service to our agents
The Group Support Specialist is part of a team but will work independently as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter data into system efficiently and accurately
Follow up and provide status updates on activities in the system
Answer phones as needed and greet visitors
Enter statements and policy information in the system for the Commissions team
Education and/or Experience:
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
High school diploma or recognized equivalent, required
Previous experience with data entry
AgencyBloc or similar agency management software experience, preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service background
E xperience working in the health insurance industry preferred, but not required
Self-motivated and driven
Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
