Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) which is a science-based process designed to ensure the safety of processed foods., Food processing procedures are analyzed by individual processing plants to identify the most important points at which food safety hazards can be reduced or eliminated. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and validation of the plant’s HACCP Program, as well as the training and certification of management, FSQA, and HACCP monitors. Applicant must have basic computer skills and ability to learn the Tyson Business Computer System. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must know all of processes involved in plant production in order to identify where potential hazards might exist. Must have HACCP knowledge and training, and be able to interpret statistical charts and data. This position will act as the location’s SQF Practitioner. REQUREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. 1+ year required in FSQA or equivalent training and/or experience. Experience in a food processing plant environment preferred. External candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and post offer health assessment.
