Aerotek Entry Level Sheet Metal Mechanic in Sioux City, Iowa

Aerotek is looking to hire Sheet Metal Mechanics to support a long-term contract in Sioux City, IA. These position start immediately, offer weekly pay, health benefits, and a potential to go direct! If interested please call Pablo Higuera at 424-531-6114.


  • Performing structural repairs by manufacturing and installing parts, and reinforcing, patching and replacing defective parts, performing modifications to aircraft structures and conducting final inspections

  • Utilizing precision tools to perform structural repairs and modifications to exacting standards in accordance with provided technical data utilizing mechanical and sanders, similar tools preparing the aircraft, panel and part surfaces prior to coating/painting mechanical stripping method

  • Providing maintenance support such as mechanical stripping, and/or sand applications on aircraft, panels and parts


  • 6+ months on the job experience as a sheet metal mechanic in an aviation environment (entry level candidates welcomed)

  • Must be able to bring own tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous CRJ or ERJ experience

  • Previous commercial airline experience.

Compensation: $24 - $30/HR (per diem available for those who qualify, 7-day per diem!)
