Dordt College HUMAN BIOLOGY (ADJUNCT) in Sioux Center, Iowa


The Biology Department seeks an adjunct to teach BIO 203: Human Biology during the Spring 2019 semester. This course provides an overview of the structure and function of the human body, using an experimental approach. It addresses how worldview impacts the use of one’s own body and guides ethical decision-making.

Candidates should have a desire to teach college upperclassmen, have excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of the topics and techniques covered by the course and the lab. There will be three lectures and one lab per week beginning January 15. A Master’s degree in biology, science education, or a related area is preferred. Preference will be given to those with college teaching experience.
