Co-op services Credit Union Senior Billing Contract Analyst in Rancho Cucamonga, California

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Billing Contract Analyst to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of contract set-ups, terminations, changes, sku set-ups, and pricing updates. The position focuses on: reviewing the contract terms, reviewing the client billing data for accuracy, as well as validate the accuracy of revenue schedule data sets. Key Functions will include the set-up of: skus, price-models, revenue schedule terms, payment terms, and assisting with custom invoice and reporting request. The Senior Billing Contract Analyst works closely with the Supervisor, Billing to ensure timelessness of contract loads within the billing software application and pricing updates are completed within the billing database.

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Reviews contract data to ensure accuracy and alignment with client contract documentation.

  • Reviews exception pricing and addition of new services to clients.

  • Completes contract and exception loads into billing software solution (e.g. Softrax, ARCB, etc.).

  • Performs pricing updates relating to renewals, net new services, deconversions, terminations. etc.

  • Completes mass pricing updates per business requirements.

  • Completes revenue schedule and validation of all fields setup accurately for proper billing.

  • Performs new client ACH setups in GP.

  • Ensures billing data integrity of the CPL and MPL within the billing application and database.

  • Assists with A/R Aging and the collection of outstanding funds.

  • Assists with sku set-up and pricing validation within all applications (e.g. Softrax, Price Book, Billing Database).

  • Assists with billing integration into financial reporting application (e.g. Great Plains).

  • Participates in special projects as designated by management.

  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Completion of high school, or equivalent.

  • Three to five years of billing experience with progressive responsibilities, including three years as Senior Billing Associate, or equivalent training and/or experience.

  • Three to five years of contract administration required.

  • Experience in the administration of complex billing scenarios.

  • Strong understanding of contract and incentive terms and provisions outlined in various client documentation (e.g. MSA, pricing agreements, price quotes, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, Vlook-ups, etc.) and Microsoft Access.

  • Working knowledge of Softrax and/or Great Plains is desirable.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Outlook, Excel).

  • Critical Thinker.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Analytical.

  • Must have strong customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage large amounts of detailed information.

  • Advanced verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work under stringent deadlines.

  • Must react to change productively.

  • Good trouble-shooting and problem solving skills.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Knowledge of SQL and Access databases desired.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

  • Experience in Softrax and Great Plains desired.
