Aerotek Project Engineer-Starting End Of May in Pleasant Hill, Iowa

Description:

Apply existing product and complete designs for specific lighting projects, including special build designs

Produce project specific drawings and documents for use by sales, production, customers and contractors

Plan, schedule, communicate, and manage the engineering aspects of lighting projects. Act almost as a project manager for each of the projects that they are working on

Assist with the training of our team members in sales and engineering on product updates

Help define plans and goals within department and put together internal teams to execute

Establish standards for new sales markets

Will work with the project from conception to design and until it is running for the customer, as well as into the warranty afterwards

Communicate with the client and vendors throughout the design and project install. There will be a lot of phone and email communication in this role.

Interpret technical drawings and plans throughout the process
