1 - First Shift
The Technology Adoption Analyst Intern helps lead end user educational efforts as part of overall organizational readiness to enable users to successfully apply technology solutions in support of business objectives. This position assists with the development and implementation strategy to support the rollout and adoption of technology solutions among team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Exhibit the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused and stewardship while modeling the associated behaviors.
Partner with corporate communications, project managers and talent development teams to ensure alignment of educational and communication efforts as part of overall organizational readiness. This may include consistency in messaging, training, corporate branding, user experience and guidelines.
Help coordinate with outside vendors and implementation partners as needed on development and implementation of user adoption plans.
Help design and deliver materials to build knowledge of end users to successfully use new technology solutions and applications.
Monitor and report on user adoption needs and feedback to continuously drive improvements.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma required.
Current student pursing a Bachelors’ degree in Statistical Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
Previous internship is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to walk users through issues and explain concepts to users who each have a different level of IT familiarity.
Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
Clear, innovative writing and communication skills.
Experience with desktop publishing tools and video creation.
Understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques.
Organizational and project management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to learn applications at a quick and detailed level.
Ability to think through the impact of change on all parties impacted and how to communicate changes with them.
