Pella Regional Health Center IT Support Analyst in Pella, Iowa
The Support Analyst’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Provides backup support for PAC’s administration, telecommunications, Multi-Function printers, and other printers.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
vBachelor’s degree in computer science or a business degree desirable. 2-year degree may be substituted if in combination with 4 or more years of progressively more advanced experience. Further experience in the field may be substituted for a formal degree.
v3 or more years of experience in positions relating to computer hardware and software support.
vAbility to read and communicate effectively in English.
vFirm understanding of computer applications.
vAbility to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
vEffective oral and written communication skills.
vTechnical and problem solving skills related to computerized processes.
vKnowledge of health care field preferred.
