Pella Regional Health Center Call Center Supervisor in Pella, Iowa
This position provides supervisor leadership to the call center supporting both scheduling and nursing. He/She oversees and monitors the work flow of call center, assisting the staff within the center to ensure the call center runs efficiently and provides a good service. Monitors patient call volume and trends to ensure the appropriate staffing needs are provided to meet our patients' needs. Assists the Director of Clinic Operations with policies and procedures to develop and enhance the call center program. He/she works collaboratively with Clinic leadership team to promote teamwork and good communication throughout the clinics. He/she is responsible for the operating, productivity and measures met within the call center as it relates to the Triage nursing personnel but will direct any clinical concerns to the Director of Clinics who oversees the Triage nurses within the call center.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v High School Graduate.
v Strong customer service skills.
v Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a customer-service capacity, preferably in a medical office setting.
v Prior supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v Strong written and oral skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public.
v Ability to communicate tactfully, with an emphasis on customer-service.
v Strong computer knowledge with the ability to learn specific computer system for scheduling and reporting.
v Technical skills associated with a clerical position.
v Strong problem solving skills and decision making ability.
v Demonstrate an aptitude toward a leadership role.
