Title: Aftermarket & Customer Support Operations Analyst - 72493
As the Aftermarket & Customer Support Operations Analyst for John Deere located in Olathe, KS, you will e fficiently retrieve internal and external data and ensures that source data is accurate, meaningful, and valid for use in analytics and reporting. This work combines 20 data sets of structured data with a consistent identifier into multiple display tools. This role identifies ways to develop sustainable data provisioning solutions and will address quality issues for data sets by identifying the root cause and potential solutions. The role updates or develops dashboards and supports efforts to close data quality gaps by meeting data training needs within the business. Works under some supervision.
Locates and acquires data from existing data locations, external sources, and new data sources as needed to support analytics and reporting.
Organizes and cleans the data to remove quality issues, combines data sources, and provides relevant information which may include developing samples used to create analytics models or reports
Creates ad hoc reports and visualizations that support data-driven decisions.
Works on new data provisioning solutions, explores new ways of organizing data, and focuses on developing sustainable data usage for designated stakeholders including access, costs, and organization processes.
Participates in creating analytics models by applying data knowledge throughout the modeling process to ensure the data is valid, accurate, and applicable for the intended usage.
Supports data governance activities by acting as a data steward or custodian of certain data elements

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)
Programming skills to develop and maintain applications including:
Programming experience using R
Knowledge of SQL CRUD operations
Experience using BI tools, preferably Tableau
Knowledge of statistical analysis, economics, and trend forecasting
Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)
Previous experience with data modeling tools and managing multiple physical & logical data models
Familiarity with Databricks
Internal or external agricultural, construction, turf, or equipment manufacturing industry specific experience in data mining and hands-on experience in quantitative modeling, analysis, and data modeling
Understanding of various business functions how we measure customer support engagement for our network of dealers servicing our customers
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Informational Technology, Math, Statistics or Economics
