Job Description

We are hiring a highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our team. This position executes plant directives and leads a team to hit production goals in a quality-focused and safe manner.


The Production Supervisor is accountable for carrying out the directives of factory management and making necessary improvements and suggestions for meeting all Safety. Quality, Production and throughput goals of the company. Completion of schedules, Safety & quality conformance, manpower utilization and assessment are the primary responsibilities of the supervisor. The role includes leadership and management of all senior operators and team members within their specific area of responsibility.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM


Production Supervisor must be proficient in understanding objectives and capable of developing a plan to meet them. When provided with tools such as detailed schedules, workforce loading, etc., they must be able to use them to effectively manage the resources under their control. In doing this they routinely must:

-Analyze the current workload based on schedules and objectives. Allocate labor and material accordingly to meet the schedules and objectives.

-Ability to interpret future production needs and execute accordingly to ensure those needs are met safely, with good quality, at expected labor costs and on time.

-Know all of the pertinent quality requirements for each job and ensure that they are met at each step of the process.

-Prove their ability to troubleshoot short issues, then lead the solutions for long term fixes.

-Proven history of driving proactive process improvement projects within their areas of responsibility.

Leadership Skills

The Plant Supervisor is accountable for making sure the teams understand the goals on a day-to-day basis and are working towards them. They are responsible for the quality of the workforce being held to a high standard of quality and productivity. In the area of leadership it is essential that the Plant Supervisor:

-Ensures all employees follow safety, attendance, and work rules without exception.

Coaches his/her team on performance issues and rewards excellence.

-Develops team members to ensure individual and team success for the long term.

-Understands and strictly enforces Standard Work Instructions and Procedures.

-Communicates objectives of the business to employees.

-Ability to lead through process change and sustain improvements.

-Drives positive morale within the team and addresses morale concerns promptly and effectively.


High School


1-4 years


HS Diploma or GED

Previous Manufacturing Supervision Experience.

Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, ability to work in a team, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail are a must.
