This position will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*Identifies financial status by analyzing actual results compared to budget.*Investigate tax discrepancies.*Research, assist with and/or complete Company surveys.*Assist with corporate financial variance & trending analysis.*Provide explanation and recommendations based on analytical results.*Potential submittal of state & regional sales & use tax returns.*Other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:*Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field.*2+ years of analysis experience.*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.*Strong written and oral communications skills.*Understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, and P&L is required.*Proven ability to perform complex analyses using pivot tables, Excel and other company data sources.*Experience in preparing and understanding financial statements a plus.*Ability to research and identify areas of compliance as needed.*Ability to identify cause and effect of research and analysis results.*Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines and work independently.#LI-DH1Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.Please view Equal Employment Opportunity Posters provided by OFCCP here.The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
