Job Description/Requirements:Plans, organizes, and coordinates daily operations involved in construction, repair, and maintenance of the countys secondary roads, culverts, and bridges. Schedules, assigns, and supervises department personnel, equipment, and materials.Education/Training: Must have a High School diploma or GED, management training. Work Experience: Consideration will be given to those with county road department or road/bridge construction experience.Required licenses, registrations, and certifications: C.D.L. Class A. If not certified, training will be provided for 10 Hour OSHA, First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, Flagging, and fire extinguisher use and operation.Required post-offer physical examination and drug testing.Residency requirement: live or the ability to relocate to within Ringgold County.Work tasks will vary daily depending on the controlling operations. Work may be performed from but not limited to the cab of truck, tractor, equipment, or outside in what can be adverse weather conditions.
