Mt. Ascutney Hospital EMT (On Call) in Manchester, Iowa
Regional Medical Center employs Emergency Medical Technicians to provide on call service. When on call, this person will be expected to respond to ambulance calls within a reasonable amount of time.
Current certification by State of Iowa to practice as an EMT
Possession of a valid Iowa class A, B or D driver’s license
Able to work autonomously; must be a self-motivated, reliable, and responsible individual
Requires flexibility in work assignments and be able to work with different individuals within hospital and community
Lifting, pushing, pulling, stretching is required
Up to date equipment: LUCAS III, Stryker PowerPro, Stryker Power-LOAD, Ferno Powertraxx, WiFi in ambulances with real time documentation ability
Confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information gained in position must be maintained according to hospital and departmental policy
