Organize, perform and lead in assigneddepartments to ensure all required processes, procedures and productionrequirements are met. Position will takeon several roles based upon field production practices, plant processingrequirements and distribution needs. Managefield operations, seed receiving, and conditioning equipment operations toinsure that all seed is properly handled and conditioned so the highest qualityseed will be packaged to meet sale demands.Essential Duties &Responsibilities:Assist site maintenance manager inmaking repairs and improvements to plant equipmentFoster an operational culturefounded on adherence to all applicable HSE and other corporate policies,procedures and guidelinesAssist in presentation of all safety training classesSupervise employees and third party personnel as requiredActively support an image that reflects the highest regard for cleanliness and organizationBalance KPI's to meet the annual improvement objectivesMonitor all plant equipment and keepin good state of repair through a preventive maintenance scheduleEnsureall equipment is properly calibrated and routinely inspectedActiveparticipation in plant upgrade projects and risk analysisMinimizedowntime through proper Preventative Maintenance programKPIdriven on downtime and safety guarding initiativesWork in conditioning, treating, packaging, or other areas to meet facility needsResponsible for maintaining, documenting, and adherences to established plant proceduresResponsible for product quality assessments and adherence to product specificationsAll seed picked and transported to specified area is identified accurately and checked against production orderFill all orders per production order instructionsEnsure all clean-downs and changeovers are done correctly to eliminate any product mixtureDevelop and implement a preventive maintenance program for the plant equipmentConduct Product Simulation (PS) testingConduct internal field audit and quality checksCoordinate field inspection program and self-certification requirementsTrack and monitor potential quality lots through disposition of productConduct seed testing and reporting activities, to maintain company quality standardsResponsible for product quality assessments and adherence to product specificationsQBS process audits and coordination of site documentationDuring growing season will beassigned production area to monitor seed quality through field inspections andrecord keepingSupport Agronomists in field related activities as directedPooling and distribution of parent seed to grower basePlanting of seed production fields and parent seed returnsAssist with field mapping and isolation documentation requirementsAccurate and timely crop scouting and data collection of emergence and vegetative growth stages, silk and pollen shed notes, stand counts, and IPM scouting thresholdsCoordination of field labor needs to ensure rouging and detasseling operations are completed to quality standardsCoordination of male row destruction and equipment operationAccurate and timely SAP and Data collection entry during the field productions seasonEnsure all clean-downs and changeovers are done correctly to eliminate any product mixtureHarvestarea coordination includes but is not limited to scheduling of pickers, loads,transportation and dump cart operationsHuskingoperations includes but is not limited to the receivin
