As a Test Automation Engineer you will be a driving force in the implementation of automation practices within our agile teams. We are seeking a self-motivated leader with dynamic skills and the ability to collaborate with software development teams across the Corteva R&D organization. If you have a passion for learning new technologies along with a strong drive to develop effective solutions for complex problems and the desire to share your knowledge, then we want you!
Responsibilities - What you will do
Collaborate closely across agile teams driving efficiency in the QA process
Engage with others to help build and maintain test automation frameworks and shared solutions
Design, document, develop and execute automation test scripts
Design, develop and execute manual test cases
Mentor and promote automation and testing competencies
Qualifications
Key Qualifications - What you will bring
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years of experience in test automation development
Working knowledge of programming languages, such as C#, Python, or Java, database query tools, and test automation tools
6+ years of experience in manual test development and execution, including development of test strategies and writing and executing functional and regression test cases
Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience validating and verifying software applications meet stakeholder requirements
Possess technical support capabilities for test automation tools and environments
Ability to work with test analysts to support and share quality automation initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable, but not required:
Jira or TFS proficient
qTest, MTM or similar testing tool familiarity
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Insomnia, Postman, Swagger, or TestComplete
Experience with load testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter
Experience with agile development methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
