Role Summary

Responsible to plan, analyze, design, configure, test, implement, maintain and support Corteva’s security Architecture that is responsive to changes in regulations and risk. Strong communication, collaboration and business facing capabilities are a key to this position.

Key Responsibilities& Accountabilities

Responsibilities

  • Design,build and implement enterprise-class security systems.

  • Align standards,frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy.

  • Identify and communicatecurrent and emerging security threats.

  • Design securityarchitecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge.

  • Create solutions thatbalance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.

  • Identify securitydesign gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes orenhancements.

  • Identify risksassociated with business processes, operations, information security programsand technology projects.

  • Be the enterprisesecurity subject matter expert who can explain technical topics to thosewithout a technical background.

Accountabilities

  • Create solutions thatbalance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.

  • Identify securitydesign gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes orenhancements.

  • Identify risksassociated with business processes, operations, information security programsand technology projects.

  • Be the enterprise security subject matter expert who can explaintechnical topics to those without a technical background.

Qualifications

Key Competencies Required

Technical Competencies

  • StrongSecurity Architectural knowledge in one or more of the following domains butnot limited to – Cloud Computing, Data, IAM (Identity and Access Management),Network, Infrastructure, endpoints.

  • Designing andimplementing security solutions including continuous monitoring and makingimprovements to those solutions, working with the relevant teams.

  • Consultingand engineering in the development and design of security best practices andimplementation of solid security principles across the organization, to meetbusiness goals along with customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong understanding oflatest threats including but not limited to data breaches, broken authentication,hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data lossand DoS attacks.

  • Strong understanding ofNational/International regulations and standards such as NIST, ISO27001, SOX,GDPR etc.

Leadership Competencies

  • Exceptionalcommunication skills with diverse audiences.

  • Strongcritical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Strongleadership, project and team-building skills, including the ability to leadteams and drive projects and initiatives in multiple departments.

Experience& Education Required

  • 3-5 years of experience as asecurity architect

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalentexperience.

  • Security Certifications such asCISSP, CISM preferred
