Corteva Agriscience Immunochemistry Development Intern - Applied Science & Technology (Johnston, IA) in Johnston, Iowa
Corteva Agriscience is seeking creative and motivated candidates for a summer intern position in the Immunochemistry Development group. The intern program is a 3-month internship designed to gain familiarity with the Corteva Agriscience organization, engage in practical real-world problems and work on method development experiments that benefit specific end-users. Interns in the program will be expected to present their work at the conclusion of the internship.
Responsibilities - What You'll Do:
You will be a member of a group supporting multiple crop projects for both research and development and product characterization pipelines . You will be an integral part of a team conducting activities aimed at furthering our understanding of protein detection reagents and methods as tools to detect and analyze transgenic proteins. You will work alongside trained analysts and will be directly involved in critical discussions regarding experimental planning, execution and result analysis. In addition, you will be responsible for an independent project conducted with the guidance of a team member.
Qualifications - What You'll Bring:
Sophomore standing of undergraduate study in biological sciences
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher prior to beginning the internship.
