WesleyLife is looking for a successful leader to step into the role of Executive Director for Edgewater, our Community for Healthy Living located in West Des Moines, IA. You will become a part of highly regarded and successful Continuing Care Retirement Community that is an integral part of WesleyLife's mission and ministry.

As the Executive Director, you'll uphold our standards of excellence and lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional service and hospitality. You'll also work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies to enhance the aging experience.

The ideal candidate for the Executive Director at Edgwater will have the following:

  • Has a minimum of a 4-year degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field with prior experience in the leadership and oversight of a community with multiple levels of services (IL, AL, and LTC). Please note that those who experience in only one of the three areas will not be considered for this opportunity

  • May have a Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator or in the process of obtaining.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and deliver outcomes.

  • Has a solid track record of successfully creating customer and team member experiences aligned with WesleyLife’s hospitality, person-directed and wellness philosophies.

  • Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and inspire the team to provide the level of customer service expected – all with a focus on serving older adults in ways which allow them to live engaged and purpose-filled lives!
