The Role
The Sales Productivity team is a function within Sales Effectiveness with a primary mission to provide tools, methodology and coaching to sellers that increase their efficiency in the selling motion. A Sales Productivity Program Manager managing the strategy, implementation, and sustainability of sales productivity and enablement platforms. In addition to lifecycle management of a program, the Sales Productivity Program Manager evangelizes the value of the program within the Lumen ecosystem and performs enablement research to stay ahead of industry trends taking place in the growing sales enablement spectrum.
The Main Responsibilities
Manages project team activities; analyzes complex business problems to provide appropriate solutions; implements solutions that leverage technology to accomplish stated strategic business objectives.
Demonstrates action-oriented leadership when faced with a project roadblock
Develop integrated program plans that take into account multiple project deliverables, and proactively identify critical impediments to meeting project objectives
Conduct regular team meetings to enhance teamwork and communicate process and procedure updates
Coordinate projects and programs across multiple business groups to ensure timely delivery of objectives. The business groups include Network Operations, Technology Management, Product Development, IT, Sales and Finance
Understand, evaluate, and balance Lumen’s ability to deliver new products, services and technologies within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
Effectively communicate program status, risks and issues to leadership, and present options and recommendations for resolution
What We Look For in a Candidate
5+ years of relevant job experience (Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Sales Enablement)
Very strong business acumen with knowledge of sales performance drivers
Strategic and conceptual thinking that can transfer into a tactical execution plan
Proven success managing multiple projects, deadlines, initiatives, and tasks.
Self-motivated and can deliver in collaborative settings.
Demonstrable leadership skills
Change Management skills and techniques. (Possibly lead a significant change in the past)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree; Business, Marketing or equivalent
Analytical proficiency in market sizing and segmentation, financial forecasting, and general business planning.
Strong relationships or previous work experience in telecom, consulting, system integrators, application developers, VARs, and global accounts.
Demonstrated experience leading business teams thought significant change
