Serves the financial needs of credit union members utilizing a Total-Needs Based selling approach. Helps members identify financial goals and objectives from face-to-face financial analysis and identifies appropriate insurance and securities products to meet members’ goals and objectives. Establishes a relationship with continuous periodic reviews as an essential part of the Total-Needs Sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:
Adheres to the Credit Union's core values in serving with truth, trust, mentoring, openness, risk-taking, communication, giving credit, integrity, caring, and respect in carrying out the UICCU's mission and vision.
Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times, recognizes importance of working successfully with retail and commercial staff to serve members in all lines of business.
Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
Ensures confidentiality of member information.
Presents a professional image from a personal and professional level that will be beneficial to both the Credit Union and UICCU Wealth Management.

Establishes a relationship with continuous periodic reviews as an essential part of the Total-Needs Sales process.
Follows the established insurance and securities compliance guidelines, and strictly adheres to all company policies.
Follows established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct. Conducts business according to high standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity and renders service to customers which in the same circumstance we would demand for ourselves.
Follows the established guidelines for maintaining client files in accordance with company practices and FINRA requirements.
Builds relationship with other Credit Union departments to cross-sell and refer members to other product lines that could benefit them. The key here is to actively build this partnership thru key activities such as group outings, lunches as well as coaching on what is a qualified wealth management referral.
Attends all required training, informational meetings as scheduled.
Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events, on an annual basis.
Must hold bachelors degree or higher and/or possess at least 3 years of experience providing broad-based investment and insurance solutions.
Must be fully licensed, Series 7, 66, Life and Health Insurance, or possess Certified Financial Planner designation to be considered.
Must meet mandatory continuing education requirements as dictated by the licensure held.
Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule as needed to accomplish all duties.
Ability to prioritize and organize a wide variety of assignments and duties and large volumes of details.
Interpersonal skills in order to promote and represent the credit union and its products.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be bondable.
Reports to the Managing Director - Wealth Management
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
