This position will either work alongside other Supply Chain Associate or will be solely responsible at other times for the day-to-day functions of the Safety Store and floor manager for the staff. Position Responsibilities:Assumes responsibility for the receipt, storage and issuance of stock.Organizes and assigns work, orients staff and assists in evaluating performance.Applies storekeeping procedures and methods in arranging space, conducting inventory and estimating needs of stock. Assures proper and precautionary methods are observed in handling and storing items requiring special treatment.Assists in carrying out promotions within the store (including designing flyers and merchandising promotional products).Assumes responsibility of incoming and outgoing orders with the e-commerce program. Maintains market awareness and performing competitor analysis, and introducing new and innovative business processes. Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification completion would be required of the candidate selected for this positionProcure and Deliver Goods and ServicesEvaluate, procure, receive, store and deliver goods and services for Safety Store inventory (i.e car seat installation).Initiate requisitions to procure goods and services for the Safety Store.Plan, develop and oversee merchandising and multiple event displays for the Safety Store.Organize and execute promotions, sales events and innovative business processes. Oversee e-commerce ordering.Research Products, Prepare Product/Equipment Specifications and Contract ManagementAnticipate trends in consumer/customer needs and research products that customers inquire about and discuss with Injury Prevention Program Manager. Inventory Management and MarketingReceive, properly store and distribute product inventory. Vendor and Customer RelationsProvide excellent customer service including answering questions about orders and shipments.Data Management or Data Systems DevelopmentMaintain inventory/equipment databases for both store and e-commerce.Fiscal ResponsibilityAddress any Point of Sale issues through appropriate channels.Oversee accuracy of cash handling and depositing at end of each day.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree with coursework in merchandizing, business or marketing or the equivalent combination of related education and retail business experience.
