Two projects are: (1) Mechanisms of SAMHD1-mediated regulation of HIV-1 innate immunity and viral gene expression; and (2) Mechanisms of HIV-1 RNA modification of N6-methyladenosine in regulating viral replication.The Wu laboratory is located in an interdisciplinary and interactive department offering state-of-the-art equipment and core facilities. Individuals who intend to follow a career in academic science are especially encouraged to apply. Previous postdocs trained in the lab have become independent faculty members at research universities or senior scientists in the biotech industry.Salary is commensurate with experience.
