The academic appointment will be at the Associate or Full Professor level, either in the Clinician Educator or Tenure Track, commensurate with experience. A minimum of five years of experience in palliative medicine is required; eight to ten years of experience is preferred. Desired qualifications include being able to effectively deliver palliative care in a variety of clinical settings, a proven ability to successfully engage with healthcare and community partners, administrative leadership experience in an academic medical center, a record of scholarly accomplishment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting a diverse workforce. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree.
