Instructional track faculty provide intensive teaching in classes and clinical practicums. The faculty positions in the undergraduate program are nine-month appointments in non-tenure instructional ranks of Lecturer and/or Associate Professor of Instruction. Full and part-time positions are available (part time positions are 50% effort or greater) and can be combined with teaching psychomotor skills and simulation in the Nursing Clinical Education Center.Faculty position for the undergraduate programs are available in the following areas:Adult Medical/Surgical Practicum (2 clinical days/onsite)Parent Child Nursing Practicum (2 clinical days/onsite)Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Practicum (2 clinical days/onsite)Areas of teaching expertise of particular interest include:Adult/Medical-Surgical Nursing (practicum)Pediatric Nursing (practicum)Mental Health Nursing (practicum)Teaching with active learning strategies including simulationWith a national reputation for excellence, the University of Iowa's College of Nursing is one of the premier institutions in the country for nursing education.
