Strategic Operations Coordinator – Indianola, IA
This is a full time, exempt position
- This position connects sales, customer service, logistics and production teams. The position requires working with sales and customer service for future orders. Coordinating purchasing and logistics along with production for the timely production or each order. The ability to negotiate and problem solve with outside vendors is a required skill for the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan production at the Deshler, Ohio facility.
Plan 5 production lines at the Indianola, Iowa facility
Plan material flow and production schedule for co-packers.
Understand historical sales date to accurately forecast inventory.
Ability to interact with sales and customer service.
Coordinate all production materials with accounting for accurate BOM’s.
Responsible for completing all job paperwork with co-packers
Ability to place purchase orders and inventory packaging materials
Responsible for tracking all raw materials at co-packers
Coordinate all shipments in-bound and out-bound with logistics team
Manage out-bound recyclable shipments.
The positions is a knowledge center for all stakeholders.
COA responsibility with QA.
Involved in Supplier Complaints
Education and Experience:
4 year college degree
3-4 years related work experience in production planning, customer service or logistics.
Proven ability to coordinate multiple departments
