SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday through Friday (8:00 am 4:30 pm) with on call, nights/weekends as needed for maintenance
SCOPE:
This position works under direct supervision and direction and is an IT generalist who is familiar with multiple technology sets. Working with peers this position will learn the skills required to monitor and administer Information Security systems, processes, and procedures in order to protect and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all data and information systems including systems and network environments. This position will work closely with other teams, vendors, and partners to focus on securing all aspects of data flow, system controls, and operational procedures. Must be able to provide a balance between security and functionality using best practice methodologies and unique problem solving skills.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Configuration management and change control
Resolves daily issues of a complex scope that impact various teams and overall business objectives.
Communicates policies and procedures for support activities.
Builds and maintains cooperative interdepartmental relationships to enhance the team's ability to provide superior customer service.
Provide 1st/2nd level support by owning and addressing issues, questions, and problems.
Escalates advanced issues to 3rd level support.
Investigate, analyze, coordinate and report on all security events, incidents and intrusions; track incidents through analysis, diagnosis, correction and resolution.
Assist in implementation of security solutions. Tracks resolution of findings and follow up to conclusion.
Monitor and report on firewall, email, web proxy, and other security platforms and systems.
Manage and administer endpoint protection technologies.
Manage and administer mobile devices for security and compliance.
Audit and verify user and file permissions.
Actively monitor security and vulnerability alerts.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or one to two years general Information Technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge and basic skill in domain management structure.
Working knowledge and basic skill with Windows servers.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate server requirements.
Ability and initiative to learn about new technologies, hardware and software products and related to how the new services would benefit the company.
Experience working with incident tracking/ticketing systems.
Valid driver's license.
