JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Finance Analyst has responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business objectives and SEC reporting requirements. This role is an integral member for the finance team and performs month-end and quarter-end close processes, account reconciliations, supports audits, and prepares financial analysis reports. Other responsibilities may include GAAP accounting standard updates, Continuous Improvement Projects, and support ERP or other system application updates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare and submit monthly forecast and annual budgets.

  • Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial status.

  • Evaluate and justify capital expenditures projects.

  • Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision making.

  • Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve tasks and profit margins.

  • Establish benchmarks for financial processes.

  • Complete month-end and quarter-close processes.

  • Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.

  • Process miscellaneous transactions financial and other.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

STAND OUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with U.S. and international accounting regulations.
