About the Position
Responsible for teaching theory and clinical courses in nursing. Arrange clinical schedule/experiences. Implement a variety of teaching methods and evaluate nursing students.
Must have a minimum of three years of experience in staff nursing.
Must hold a current RN license in the State of Iowa.
Must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing or show annual progress towards this degree with completion in five (5) years.
Prefer strong experience or work background in the content area of the position being sought.
Teaching experience preferred.
Meet the standards of the Iowa Central Quality Faculty Plan established by the College Board of Trustees.
All candidates interviewed will be required to provide a teaching demonstration.
This is a full-time position (170 days). Minimum annual salary will be $60,840. Benefits include health and hospitalization, dental, long-term disability, and term life insurance, paid sick leave and holidays, and participation in IPERS or TIAA retirement plan.
