***This job order is offered by a no-fee staffing agency***Please reference Job Posting - 14188-1 when emailing about this job.REGULARTORY DOCUMENTATION SPECIALISTTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:i Have proven success in plans and requirements for electronic record keeping systems and related business processes and compliance with records management statutory requirements.i Have experience in developing plans and requirements for electronic records management (ERM) systems accounting for related business processes.i Be thoroughly knowledgeable of records management laws, regulations, rules, policies and procedures; the principles and concepts of information governance of various phases of records and information management, and the complete records process and content management framework that supports the entire life cycle of business records.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESi Assist in leading, planning and managing the Records Information Management Program and is an advocate for the programis importance to the company.i Meet obligations for the creation and retention of paper and electronic records.i Provide efficient access to the right information.i Advise records custodians on best practice processes to ensure compliance to Polici Analyze, interpret and implement federal records and information management laws across a nationwide records operation, regulations, and policies, including the Federal Records Act, the Paperwork Reduction Act, the Privacy Act, the Freedom of Information Act, OMB Circular No. A-130, Management of Federal Information Resources, and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and General Services Administration (GSA) guidance and regulationsi Develop strategic relationships with off-site storage vendors, enable partnership engagements, communicate their capabilities internally within Rockwell Collins and externally to Rockwell Collins customers as neededi Develop and implement RM tools and artifacts, including records inventories, records indexing and classification schemes, records retention and disposition schedules, and file plansi Develop enterprise information management and records policies/procedures and inserting best-practices.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:i Bacheloris degree in appropriate field or in absence of a degree, six years related experience. i Three 3 years records management experience or 8 years of experience in records management / library related field.i Records Management training or certifications (e.g., CRM)i Background in performing records management practices which include filing paper and electronic records, fulfilling records requests, entering data into the Records Management system, conducting records inventories, preparing records for disposition, and, identifying records for retirement / destruction based on approved Records Schedules.i Experience with Electronic Content Management Systemsi Microsoft Office with an emphasis on building and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, producing data driven reports, and creating PowerPoint presentationsi Knowledge of current enterprise content management and information management technologies. i Knowledge of applicable domestic laws and regulations as they relate to records and information securityDonatech is an equal opportunity employer.
