Location: Mobile (Partial On-Site and Work from Home Arrangement); Coralville, IA
Must live in an area that does not exceed a 100-mile (150 km) radius of Coralville, IA.
IDT’s Analytics Developer will develop and support self-service reporting and analytics tools through coordination with application, infrastructure, and business teams. They will ensure data products and tool’s quality and consistency, as well as lead, motivate, and inspire IDT’s Analytics community. The Analytics Developer will also be committed to exploring new tools and techniques for data analysis to satisfy the great need for information.

Collaborates with business community to elicit, document and translate business requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions into technical requirements
Analyzes complex data systems to develop automated and reusable solutions for extracting requested information while assuring data validity and integrity
Designs, develops, delivers and supports BI applications and solutions as well as reports within IDT’s standards of development lifecycle, testing and validation, documentation and security. Coordinates with business and technical communities as needed.
Trains and empowers others to create and maintain self-service BI solutions. Develops and leads training sessions to educate teams on the use of BI platforms.
Promotes and supports the infrastructure of reporting and BI strategy; including standards and best practices
Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of BI and reporting tools and solutions
Support business and technical community in ad hoc reporting, querying and analysis

Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related subject or equivalent experience/certifications required
Minimum of two years of SQL/T-SQL and report development/information delivery experience required
Two or more years of reporting development or data visualization experience with MS BI Tools preferred
Other Job Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of relational database design and BI architectures, core concepts, methods and best practices
Technical knowledge, experience and aptitude in BI Tools within MS BI applications: SQL, SSAS, SSRS, Excel
Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills; ability to effectively articulate business and technical concepts
Ability to develop productive business relationships, understand business processes and information requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes
