UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Physician to join our Family Medicine Clinic in Peosta, IA
Established Practice and Patient Panel
Current providers: 1 ARNP

Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well
X-ray and Lab on-site
40 hours per week with 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of administrative time built in.
Looking for flexibility to increase patient access
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Clinic is Family Medicine, but there is also a walk-in component to the practice
Average patients/day: 22-24
Provide Supervision of APPs
Pooled phone call triaged through my-nurse call center: 1 week on every 5-6 weeks
Additional call 4 weeks per year covering Pediatric Admitting at Finley Hospital
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills required to set the daily tone of the clinic
Dedication to highest tier of patient experience and quality metrics
MD or DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible
Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work as a team member
