Clarke University is seeking adjunct faculty for multiple online Business courses within its CareerPLUS Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and/or Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching and course design opportunities based on course demand and staffing. Adjunct positions are available starting in the 2021 2022 academic year, including the Summer 2022 term.
The CareerPLUS BAS degree offers adult learners who have earned some college credit to earn a Bachelor's degree at their own pace. The BAS degree program features 7-week, online, asynchronous 3-credit courses with six start terms per year.
The MBA Program offers those with a Bachelor's degree an opportunity to achieve graduate knowledge in business. The MBA degree can be achieved in as little as eighteen months or students can obtain certificates in specific graduate coursework. The MBA program features 7-week, online, asynchronous 4-credit courses with six start terms per year.
The ideal candidate is able to teach across the Business curriculum; however, we have particular need for candidates able to teach any of the following courses:
Project Management (MBA)
Organizational Management (MBA)
Human Resource Management (MBA)
Microeconomic Principles (BAS)
Human Resource Management (BAS)
Finance I (BAS)
Operations Management (BAS)
Master's or Ph.D degree in Business or a related field
Those teaching MBA courses are required to have at least 18 hours of coursework in the field of teaching
University teaching experience preferred for those teaching BAS degree courses
Five or more years' experience working in Business or related field preferred
Candidates must reside in Iowa or Illinois
