Job Description

Under the direction of the Director Development IT, this position will work on planning and executing on R&D IT projects to support Pharmacovigilance at our Company's Animal Health division. Technical Analyst will work closely with the PV-Works Product owner to ensure sprint deliverables are on track and current development activity aligns with Product Roadmap.

The Technical Analyst will assist in organizing and conducting sprint ceremonies. This includes: running daily standups, sprint planning, organize sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

Primary Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to )

The person hired will be responsible for collaborating with various IT and business functions to align on strategic direction and realization of Innovative solutions to meet the core business goals, and assist with designing and developing global IT capabilities in support of our Company's Animal Health division.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our business to drive the animal health Pharmacovigilance roadmap.

  • Support multiple IT projects in pharmacovigilance IT for Animal Health following Agile way of working.

  • Software development and change control following SDLC.

  • Assists in formulating test plans and conducting UATs with the business team members.

  • Acts to apply Agile/Scrum practices in a manner to best suit the needs of the organization.

  • Assists with internal communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

  • Coordinates and encourages participation from all team members in scrum ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective) and longer-term planning exercises (Road Mapping, Release Planning).

  • Supports the PV Product Management team in applying the scrum framework and agile principles and help in refining and maintaining the product backlog.

  • Assists in the identification and mitigation of project risks.

  • Assists in formulating test plans and conducting UATs with the business team members.

Education :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in an IT or software development team that applied Agile/Scrum principles.

• Two or more years’ experience using Jira, or similar agile work management tools.

• Experience complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and validated IT systems preferred.

• Experience in Pharmacovigilance preferred but not required.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.

• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict skills and resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

• Ability to anticipate issues based on experience to help the team avoid or resolve the issues.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including active listening.

• Knowledge of and/or experience with writing effective user stories and acceptance criteria.

• experience in development and/or testing of GxP system, preferred.
