The Position

Cleo’s Data Movement support department is looking for a Technical Support – Tier 1 specialist that is dedicated and driven to provide each client with an unparalleled customer experience. This position is responsible for performing technical support for clients and providing resolution analysis on various technical issues.

What you will be doing

  • Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for customers

  • Create and carry out test scenarios to duplicate identified problems

  • Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion

  • Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to the Tier 2 engineers

  • Ensure electronic knowledge base is utilized effectively and is maintained and expanded over time

  • Work directly with customers via phone, email or remote access to provide top-tier customer service

  • Problem solving and communicating concepts effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of Technical Support work experience

  • Customer Service Experience

  • Server OS Experience

  • Database knowledge

  • General Active Directory knowledge

  • General Networking knowledge

  • PLUS if you have Protocol Support experience (HTTP / SMPT / FTP / SSHFTP)
