Accountemps is in need of a Senior Accountant with terrific experience and know-how for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact

• Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts

• Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

• Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments

• Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

• Ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial auditing, Budget management, Financial Reporting, and Grant & Fund Accounting,

• Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
