Principal Software Engineer (Oracle HCM and Data Integration focus) in Des Moines, Iowa
As a Software Engineer in our Corporate Systems Support area, you’ll use your excellent soft skills coupled with your passion for technology to provide operational support for our HR systems! This role will have an emphasis on system configuration, fixes and enhancements for oracle HCM, while looking to continue forward advancement towards the cloud.

Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
Solutioning for data/system integrations- file based or API based integrations.
Configure/enhance Oracle HCM platform.
Ensure established controls, policies, regulations and recommend mitigation strategies are followed during development. Ensure system is secure and meets policy and regulatory requirements during development.
Participates in technical design of features.
Stay engaged and interested on industry trends and how those could translate to helping tackle business needs.
We’re looking for someone with:
Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 2+ years related work experience as a technology professional or equivalent experience
High level of proficiency with SQL
Basic planning, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making required
Additional preferred technical experience:
Experience with programming, including use of Python highly preferred
Experience configuring/enabling cloud+vendor platforms (we use AWS)
Experience with Denodo or other Data virtualization tools
Experience with enterprise reporting tools - Business Objects, for example
This role will have an on-call rotational responsibility.
