About the Role:

As a product manager on the Platform team, you will be responsible for building and evolving the API platform for the most cloud-native and complete data streaming offering in the industry. You will own and drive the vision and strategy for the API platform - to scale, innovate and integrate the most foundational and critical pillar of our business. You think like a developer and know how to deliver the most developer-friendly APIs in the industry. You are also able to think broader about the developer journey which includes tools such as the CLI and Terraform provider.

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a product owner or product manager working on developer-focused products

• Highly technical and deep understanding of how developers or tools interact with API interfaces

• Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade products as an engineer, product manager, or solutions architect.

• Experience building, writing, maintaining and defending a clear product roadmap and backlog backed by user stories and customer research.

• Exceptional written and presentation skills. At Confluent we rely heavily on documents to explain the vision and facilitate concrete communication.

• Ability to build relationships with co-workers and customers located around the world.

• Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changes

• Hands-on experience with Azure / AWS / GCP
